There are two methods to lighting the Binchotan Stix Charcoal:
Method 1:
Using Lumpwood Create a base of lumpwood charcoal, add 3-4 Big K firelighters and light. Once the firelighters are burning, cover with additional charcoal to make a pyramid. This allows the flames to rise up from the bottom, heating the coals quickly and evenly. After approximately 30 minutes, spread the coals out and add the Binchotan on top. Wait for a further 25-30 minutes and you're ready to start cooking.Method 2:
Chimney Starter With a single layer of lumpwood charcoal, place the firelighters underneath and the binchotan on top in an upright position. Light the firelighters, after 15 minutes change turn the charcoal the other way up, after approximately 30 minutes, lay the briquettes out length ways in your grill.There are two methods to lighting the Binchotan Charcoal:
