There are two methods to lighting Big K 5kg Restaurant Grade Hot Brix - 100% Natural FSCĀ® Certified Charcoal Briquettes:
Method 1:
Using Chilla Grilla or similar Lumpwood Charcoal, Create a base of charcoal, add 3-4 Big K firelighters and light. Once the firelighters are burning, cover with additional charcoal to make a pyramid. This allows the flames to rise up from the bottom, heating the coals quickly and evenly. After approximately 30 minutes, spread the coals out and add Big K 5kg Restaurant Grade Hot Brix - 100% Natural FSCĀ® Certified Charcoal Briquettes on top. Wait for a further 10-15 minutes and you're ready to start cooking.Method 2:
Without Lumpwood Charcoal Create a base of Big K 5kg Restaurant Grade Hot Brix - 100% Natural FSCĀ® Certified Charcoal Briquettes briquettes, add 5+ Big K Firelighters and light. Once the firelighters are burning, cover with additional charcoal to make a pyramid. This allows the flames to rise up from the bottom, heating the coals quickly and evenly. After approximately 30 minutes, spread the briquettes out. Then, simply wait another 10 minutes and you're ready to start cooking.All Delivery Information can be found HERE.
