There are two methods to lighting Big K Lumpwood Charcoal:
Using Big K Firelighters:
Place several Big K firelighters onto a bed of Big K Lumpwood Charcoal, then heap more charcoal over and around the lighter cubes. Light the firelighters with a long match or taper, and wait roughly 20-25 minutes for the flames to die down and for the charcoal to take on a greyish appearance. Then, spread out the coals, wait for any further flames to die down and start to cook. Remember to cook over heat not flames.Using Big K Lighting Gel:
Heap Big K Lumpwood Charcoal onto the BBQ grate, then spread out over the cooking area. Using Big K Lighting Gel squeeze approximately half a cup of fluid over the charcoal, then allow to soak in for 1 minute before lighting. Wait roughly 20-25 minutes for the flames to die down and for the charcoal to take on a greyish appearance. Then, spread out the coals, wait for any further flames to die down and start to cook.
