BBQ Tomato Sauce

A basic tomato based sauce that brings the right blend of sticky sweetness and sizzling fire to your barbecue. You really can’t go wrong with this one.
800 g Peeled tomatoes (San Marzano or other similar kind)
½ cup Brown sugar
½ cup Orange juice
½ cup Pure honey
½ cup Apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Paprika powder (according to preference)
2 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Crushed black pepper
4 tsp Garlic powder
2 tsp Red chili flakes

Blend all ingredients in an electric blender until you have a smooth and consistent mixture.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over a medium heat for approx. 20 mins. The mixutre will get darker and start to bubble frequently as the ingredients are caramelised and close to being ready.
