These pellets are great for smoke generators. They give a great flavour without being overpowering. There was no hint of any pollution from tannings in the hardwoods that are evident in less controlled products.
I have found that the residue left in the generator is minimal and easy to clean compared to wood chips.
Lighting the pellets without a dedicated fire lighter was very easy using a blow torch. Once alight they smouldered for hour depending on the amount of air allowed into the combustion chamber.
Overall a pleasant and easy to use product that give a great result.
In time I will try the single wood pellets and compare the results to Big K Smokey Hardwood mixed pellets
