Celeb Chef Theo Michaels Creates the Ultimate Buried Lamb BBQ Showstopper

Looking to really wow your guests at your next dinner party? We asked celeb chef, author and TV personality Theo Michaels to come up with the ultimate BBQ showstopper. You won’t want to miss this one.

Theo’s recipe for buried lamb really is something special. This stunning dish can be cooked on a barbecue, fire pit or even on an open fire, and the really intriguing thing for your guests is to see the parcel all wrapped up and cooking right on the fire. The real excitement lies in the serving. Picture your guests’ faces as you eagerly unwrap the parcel while the aroma of deliciously tender lamb fills the air — better than Christmas we’d say! The buried nature of this cook means the lamb slow cooks for in its own juices for over 3 hours, so it truly melts in the mouth. Theo adds a few new potatoes to the parcel too, making this a delicious meal for a group.
