Delivery and Warranty Policy – WINTER FUEL

All products will be delivered within 7 working days within the M25 and 5 working days outside the M25, free of delivery charge, subject to availability and the order value having been fully paid. We will contact you if there is a delay in delivering within this period.

This service is subject to a minimum order value of £60.00 within London and £100 outside of London and is not available for off-shore deliveries, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Cornwall, Devon and parts of Wales.

Deliveries within the M25

All winter fuel deliveries will be delivered by a dedicated courier (APC). We can offer morning (8 am to 12.30 am) or afternoon slots (12.30 pm to 5.30 pm) delivered to your doorstep. Please note that due to the Health and Safety Policy of the haulage trade, the courier cannot deliver up flights of stairs such as in blocks of flats, or take excess packaging away to be returned to Big K. It is your responsibility to stack your winter fuel in your dedicated storage area.

If the driver arrives and cannot deliver due to staircases, he will return the goods to our warehouse. Big K Products Ltd retains the right to apply a charge for any subsequent delivery.

Deliveries outside the M25

Please note that areas outside the M25 can only be serviced by a pallet network and for this reason we can only offer kerbside deliveries (delivery to the nearest vehicular access). For details please refer to the Delivery Policy for Outdoor Living Items below. Special delivery requirements are available at additional transport cost - for details please contact our customer service department on 01366 501485.

It is the customers' responsibility to ensure that there is a safe and suitable access area for the items to be delivered.

At Big K Products we like to guarantee the quality of all products we supply. If you feel that they do not reach your satisfaction, please contact us on our sales team on 01366 501485 within 14 days of delivery and we will do our best to meet your needs.

Delivery and Warranty Policy – OUTDOOR LIVING

Deliveries are usually made within the specified delivery time, subject to availability and the order value having been fully paid. We will contact you if there is a delay in delivering within this period. Speciality products, which are imported as per order, require a delivery period of 4 - 6 weeks.

Barbecues are delivered in component parts and shrink-wrapped on a pallet through our standard delivery service. An assembly service is not available.

Prior to dispatch of your order, you will be contacted by the haulage company to arrange a convenient date for the delivery of your item. It is, therefore, vital that a day time telephone or mobile phone number is forwarded to us. Should you be unavailable to take delivery on the agreed date, you will be liable for the cost of the second delivery attempt to yourself or the return delivery to Big K Products. This also applies, if a suitable and safe area is not provided and the driver is, therefore, unable to deliver the goods.

If, upon delivery, you receive a damaged barbecue, please sign for the delivery as damaged and contact our Big K Barbecue Sales office on 01366 501485.

Standard Delivery Service:

Under our standard delivery service, barbecue items are delivered by pallet on a 7.5 t tail-lift lorry to the nearest vehicular access of your property. This is not a two-man delivery service and for health and safety reasons, the driver:

  • can only move the pallet using a pump truck
  • cannot assist you in removing your barbecue from the pallet
  • cannot assist you in manoeuvring the barbecue into your garden
  • will not be able to remove the packaging from your property
  • cannot pull the pump truck over kerbs, gravel drives, steps or into a back garden.

Please note that due to the Company's Health & Safety Policy, we are unable to deliver upstairs (eg blocks of flats). In this instance you must make alternative arrangements for delivery (eg. Garage/shed; behind gate;or with a neighbour)

Please note the following delivery charges:

  • Purchases up to a retail value of £24.99 = £6.50
  • Purchases between a retail value of 25.00 to £99.99 = £10.00
  • Purchases over a retail value of £100.00 = FREE delivery
  • Please note: Deliveries to Scotland are subject to additional charges.

Disposal of Blue CHEP Pallets

Should you receive your delivery on a Blue Pallet, please contact CHEP on the following free phone number: 0800 515320 option 1.

CHEP will take your details and arrange collection normally within 7 – 10 working days.


The barbecue is covered under warranty against faulty parts for a period of 12 months after purchase. Parts for non-stock barbecues can be delivered within 4 - 6 weeks.
